EFQUEL signs double agreement with NAQAAE |

Cairo | 16. June 2009 In a recent visit of EFQUEL to NAQAAE a double agrreement was signed between EFQUEL and NAQAAE. Both organizations entered into an alliance to provide quality certification in Egypt in the future for HEIs. In addition a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Arab University Association, EFQUEL and NAQAAE to establish an Arab network of Higher education for quality and innovation in eLearning. The Arab University association, based in Jordan, has over 300 member universities from different arabian countries and enables EFQUEL together with its partners to form a strong Euro-mediterranean bridge with its partners. 
The alliance between EFQUEL and NAQAAE follows the common goals to deepen relations and provide quality certification. The European Foundation for Quality in E-learning and the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Education, Egyptians are forstering now quality development in joint partnership in the Arab countries. EFQUEL extents its field of operation with this stragetic move, after having signed a MoU before to prepare this cooperation activity (see more details in the category "Cooperation").
 This alliance empowers National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Education of Egypt (NAQAAE) with the assistance of EFQUEL to adapt and adopt the EFQUEL UNIQUe quality certification of higher education e-learning institutions to Egypt. It advances common goals and secures common interest in assuring that high quality graduates are prepared to enter the global workforce.
The three objectives in brief: - The primary objective of this Alliance is to empower NAQAAE to provide the UNIQUe quality certification to e-learning higher education institutions in Egypt and the surrounding regions, as appropriate.
- The second objective of this Alliance is to advance common goals and encourage common interest in promoting high quality higher education for Egypt in order to enable high quality graduates to enter the global workforce.
- The third objective of this Alliance is to participate in the joint NAQAAE and EFQUEL certification of eLearning in higher education institutions in Egypt and the surrounding regions.
