ECBCheck call for submissions to next review round

After the finalisation of the 2012 review round, in which ECBCheck certified 9 international courses, a new submission round is now open for new applicants.  ECBCheck welcomes training and capacity building courses that consists of an eLearning component of at least 20% within the overall course in order to be eligible for the ECBCheck quality certification.

Interested course providers and international organisations can submit their application before the 31st of January in order to proceed with the self-assessment (to be completed before the 30th of March).  The application can be submitted via the application form on the ECBCheck website.

For verifying whether your course matches the ECBCheck requirements, you may use the toolkit available on the ECBCheck website.

The ECBCheck certification is a paid service managed by EFQUEL in partnership with GIZ and the ECBCheck community.  For an overview of the fees charged, please visit this page on the ECBCheck website.

The process is planned as follows:

  • Submission: 1 Dec – 31 Jan
  • Self-Assessment: 1 Dec – 30 Mar
  • Peer-Review: 1 Apr – 15 May
  • Awarding:  16 May – 30 May
